Hello guys,

Today I gave my bike a full visual inspection and I found this (picture).

I don't know if it's allright, but it sure doesn't look good. The shock is not sitting right in there. Called the mechanic and sent a picture, they say that they will do a check, but most probably it's all good and nothing to worry about.

I also searched in the part fiches to find the right part to replace, but it seems a bit confusing - is it a part sold with the shock or the linkage?

Cheers

Could anyone give me some feedback on their bikes?
Does your shock sit the same way? I checked today the bike at the mechanic and they say it's all good and all bikes have this "problem".

Right now I am thinking of purchasing a new shock (aftermarket), if this turns out to be a real problem.

Cheers

mine does the same. there are two small bushes that allow it to pivot. You can turn it straight again if you want. Will more than likely align like this again. No need to replace

Update: I ordered a new shock and bushings (don't know if those will be necessary for an aftermarket shock). As soon as these arrive I will post pictures with the disassembled old part
