I'm looking to replace my rear brake pads, and as a result need to remove my rear wheel. I'm having a hard time finding a socket large enough to fit the rear axle nut! My best guess is that it's around a 1 7/8th is this right or is it a metric size? Also where can I get a reasonably priced socket of this size? Any help would be appreciated. :???: :???: :???:

It's 46mm, and the Standard size is 1 13/16, but the metric size fits best. You can replace your pads without removing the rear wheel. I did it. You just have to be careful not to scratch the wheel.

Axle nut is 46mm, but 1 - 13/16 works out to about 46.05mm.
You can pick up a 1 - 13/16 x 3/4 drive socket at any NAPA store for about $12.
