I have recently bought a 02 Bonneville, and I have just ordered a replacement tire for the front [Dunlop 404]. I have owned several bikes over the years, but none ever had spoked wheels. I don't know what tube to get... :???:

Told you it was a really, really newbee question...

You may not need a new tube. I had the tires replaced on an '03 with 13,000 miles, and the tubes were fine.

Welcome vern
The stock tire size is 100/90 -19"
I'm not sure what size the dunlop 404 is. But I would say
any tube that's for a 19" rim should work.
and , as mentioned above the old tube could be reused.

Tube still good? Reuse it! I am gonnago w/ Metzlers on thwe tire change tho. Dunlops OK, but I am toldMetzlers are superior. Gonna get 7000 mi oughta the dunlops tho. They are drying out now, but wearing (cept the front) well. Gotta watch using the front brake as a slow down tool- cups the tire!! I will be careful w/ the new ones! OOPS got Bridgestones on it. O well still gonna go for Metzlers anyway. :)
