Tapered steering head roller bearings, bronze swingarm bushings, rework the front forks, change the shocks and the "hinge in the middle" pretty much disappears. Now the brakes, well that's a whole other story...
Had a buddy who club raced one in the 70’s, bit older than me, he went from that to rodeo...beat up is an understatement. But, he talks about it with fond memories. He still even has his leathers.
I had the 400cc version in the late 1970's. Fun bike. Would smoke my buddy 's CB350. Didn't notice the handling issues the 500 and 750 models are well known for, but maybe I was just too young and dumb to notice. These Kawi's are one of the big reasons I love Triumph triples now.
