...riding around with your turn signals always on because you can't hear the clicker or see the gas tank indicator light?

ANSWER: You build yourself an indicator light and place it in your field of vision:

I bought some cheap "ricer-boi" dash lights and a pack of super magnets.

Then I made the following circuit and tapped it into my turn-signals in the headlight bucket.

(I used super bright T1 orange LEDS)

The red indicator on the left is one to tell me that the ignition is not in the OFF position (when I get off the bike). The key easily comes out of the ignition switch in all positions...

If you care, here's it's circuit diagram.

It is tapped into the run lamp in the headlight.

I regret using a red LED as I now constantly think I have a motor problem when I glance at it.... If you're going to do this, use green, orange or yellow.

I hear you!

I have programmed myself to push the cancel button immediately after every turn that requires the use of a turn signal and this seems to help. Or, you can get to be my age and use a bumper sticker that says "I am old, my turn signal is supposed to on.

Oh Yeah?I converted mine and I STILL have forgotten too turn them off.:DangI forget less times now than before the LEDs but I do occasionally.Especially if I"m wearing a fullface lid which restricts my view of the idiot lights.I try to push the off button as soon as I do the turn too, but there's no fix for stupid:Dang

:It is good info and my thanks also ,but as I'm too dumb to push an indicator button how do you think I'll do figuring a wiring diagram out? :grin2:

The LEDs did help. At least now I can see it even in the bright sun. Still doesn't mean I won't forget. I guess I only have a few years of riding left in me. I'm 70, and losing my hearing, so a beeper on it is not going to help much longer. Rather die riding one of my bikes than in a rest home. ...J.D.

When I purchased my 2015 America it had a similar setup already installed. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the bracket for the led’s was mounted between the handlebar clamps, which then caused a very small amount of movement in the handlebars. Sorry I don’t have a better photo of it but it shows the problem. Like wire-wheels I replaced the standard bulbs with led’s. Works great for me.
