Although I welcome the fact that Triumph make owners manuals and accessory installation instructions available on line it can be very hard work reading past the constant warning and caution windows that litter every page.

Perhaps we should award a prize for the stupidest one that can be found. For example when fitting a centre stand:-

If the engine has recently been running, the
exhaust system will be hot.


Never ride an accessory-equipped motorcycle at
speeds above 80 mph (130 km/h).


Owners handbook regarding mirror adjustment:-

Removal of the rider’s hands from the
handlebars while riding the motorcycle
will diminish the ability of the rider to
maintain control of the motorcycle.


It is difficult not to take offence when on every page Triumph treat owners as though they were 5 years old.
