Changed my pre-load setting from 2nd highest to lowest. This appears to have lowered the rear nearly 1/4 inch when unladen. This is a plus because I am short of inseam. However I'm also about 250 lb, so I'm wondering if I can run it at the lowest setting. Also, can I drop the front end about 1/4 inch to match the rear?

Thanks in advance for any ideas offered!

Read down about 10 threads and you'll see a topic all about lowering your bike.

It is certainly possable, but I wouldn't do it.
You will find that you will start to bottom out. The rear end will wallow in the corners and feel very vague.
At 250lbs I would not go less than the 2nd softest setting even on a smooth freeway.
I'm +250lbs and I ride on 4 all the time. But that is just me.
