Rocket owners need to check the power relay holders behind the left side, side panel. The one located just under the seat with the Rocket logo on it. I noticed the other day during my tranny repair that the rubber holders for the relays were cracked and splitting which could eventually lead to the relays coming loose flopping around behind the metal cover. Also missing my battery holddown strap which broke away in the last couple of days. I'm going to quiz the Tulsa dealer and find out if warranty covers this stuff, especaly the relay holders. Was your bike exposed to high temps? Any chemical cleaners? Other than that it just might be poor quality plastic, unless the bike was exposed to it prior to you getting it. let me know if you discover the cause. :hammer:

It's most likely just poor quality rubber. The battery holddown straps are just as prone to going south in less than a year. The relay holders are located behind the side cover, so not much of anything gets to them. Bigern
