8-10-08 to 11-5-08 put on 7,800. That's only riding to work and school. Now that I graduated I can actually leave the state for a week or so!

You guys aren't trying ! My 2003 Speedy has 23000 miles. Low because I have 2 other Triumphs to ride - I've done 20000 miles on my Tiger and 36000 miles on my Tbird (although not used in last 2 years).

I have 44,000 km`s (27,300 miles) on my 07, despite being a wheely junky I am still running the original chain sprockets and clutch. I think the clutch is 'not long for this world' the chain has quite a few tight spots but the sprockets seem OK. One thing about Triumph is that the OEM chain and sprockets are top draw items.

Until 2 weeks ago I also owned another 2 Triumphs, so I expect the annual mileage to increase a fair bit. The only issue I have had, is the front sprocket coming loose.

My Triumph mechanic has a son with over 70,000 hard miles on a Speed Triple. Claims his son runs the poop out of the bike, and races frequently. Brags how these 1050 motors are industructable. I hope he is right because I hope to keep mine forever. My 07 only has 18,000 miles. Its a commuter, but gets thrashed once in a while.
