Hi!

Anyone know if it's possible to get a seat like this for a 95 tbird?
I like the look of the Legend seat but apparently it doesn't fit the bird.
I was also thinking about the corbin gunfighter but I ride two up a lot.

I photoshopped my king/queen seat and just basically squashed it to
half the depth..

You don't want a Legend seat. They are uncomfortable, trust me. :-D :-D Your photo-shop looks somewhat like a Russell Day long, but those are quite a bit of $$.

I have been using a stock T-Bird seat instead of my Legend seat, not a huge improvement but a little better. I just ordered a new Sport Skinz from Sargent Saddles for the Legend seat along with some of their atomic foam and am going to try and make it better. I'll post pics after I get it done.

Corbin makes a king/Queen that fits the TBirds. I think that is what you have in the "before" picture. They will do custom work.

Rick Mayer did my seat and I am very happy with it.

There is also Rocky Mayer (Bill Mayer)
Russell Day long as mentioned. They all do similar looking work.
Yes a bit pricey, I have done some 500 mile days on mine, no way could I do that with a stock seat.

Here's the Corbin Gunfighter & Lady on my '96. It looks to be the basic shape that you're looking for. I've got a bad back and have done a few 500 mile days with no problems. If you've never sat on a Corbin don't expect a soft, plush seat. They use a high density, closed cell foam that takes a few thousand miles to break in and is much firmer than most seats but is comfortable. Hard to beat for $299.

Russ, the fairing is from Bella Corse. After ordering it I found it in a few other places for cheaper.

Shades, thanks for the pic. It looks good. As Denny said my seat is a Corbin King/Queen seat. I am looking for something a little lower profile. I would have to see one like yours in person before ordering. I would like to see a straightup gunfighter on a tbird, too.

Anyways the closest thing I've seen that LOOKS good to me is the Legend seat. But it doesn't fit and it's apparently uncomfortable.

=(

Thanks for the info. I wonder what it would take to make a Legend seat fit? I mean, I could do a little work and make a seat like yours fit my Legend, many have done it. I actually have been using a newer T-Bird seat for over a year as it attaches the same as the Legend with bolts in the back. If you would like to see what a Legend seat would look like on your bike, just to kill the curiosity, I'll be happy to meet you somewhere and you can take a look at it.

I always found the legend seat to be comfortable. I did several hundred mile shots on the highway and 500 mile days without any problem. Just a matter of perspective I guess.

If it were me, I would bring the seat and the 2 pictures to an upholstery shop. Since the seat foam would only have to be shaved I don't think a new seat cover would have to be made, making it a pretty cheap job. It's worth a try.
