Having seen the previous post re Bulldog, I just had to do a separate one about this dealer.

Last month I was leading a group of riders to the ferry at Cairnryan to do a tour of Ireland, meeting up with some RATS from McCallens. One of our lads on a 675 Daytona suffered the fatal reg/rec fault and his bike had to be pushed on to the ferry. He was gutted - he might miss our tour.

So I suggested he ring McCallens - you never know they might be able to do something I said.

No reg/rec in stock! Workshop full the next day! Mechanic off sick!​

So how did they help? They only took a reg/rec that was earmarked for another bike. Fitted it 9am the next day so he could ride away with us at 9.30. And charged him nothing - zero - zilch. Triumph have a recall on the reg/rec and the rest is down to pure goodwill.

Now how about that in this day and age. Is that good or is that good?

Lets hear it for McCallens!!
