Well, after reading and realizing how many triumph owners are gun nuts i started becoming afraid to ride with other triumphs, so i bought this today

i talked to icon as well, their thinking about incorperating it into the timax jacket,, a "triumph" edition. it was either that or move to england, and i haven't quite found the right english chick to marry, seems to be the only way to move over there though, maybe canada will let me in. better roads anyway.

Just remember, guns don't kill people.... it's usually the loss of blood.

I don't know who the manufacturer was, but one vest company proves it's vest capabilities by shooting themselves at point blank range with a .357 magnum. Don't know about you, but that's a little too hardcore for me.

Nice, but you now need to buy a Glock or Sig 45 ACP to shoot back! Hey this is America!

JRussell,
I got a feeling that you didn't buy the thing just to stop bullets. Maybe it is also for if (God forbid) you eat it oneday. Those vests are very handy at preventing roadrash and they make good skid pads if you low side and can control your body slide. I know guys who are very happy they were wearing body armor when they went down. When I first bought my Speedy I flirted with the idea of wearing my old flak jacket from the Marines when riding speedy. What stopped me was the weight of the thing. If it wasn't so heavy I think it would be a good idea.

hey 38, actually sounds like not a bad idea, lol, but i didn't really buy the thing, just pokin fun at gun folks, when i was younger a friend of mine accidently shot himself in the face with his dad's gun,, the gun did have a lock on, but was loaded,. had a thing against non-varmint huntin guns since then, but hey, whatever gets your rocks off in life, go for it,, i know people that have died on bikes, but i still do that. i'm pretty serious about riding gear though,, except pants,, i should wear better leg protection.
