does anyone know what tire brand and model our daytonas came with from the factory?

Back: 190/50-ZR17

Just got my Metzler M-1's from cyclegear....$189 shipped! Un-friggin real! Can't waitto scuff em in now.

My 06 model had Bridgestone BT010's on it even though they are no longer available retail so presume that they are the OE.

I just bought my bike 2 weeks ago, with 5050 miles on it. It has Metzler M-1's on it and the rear is trashed. Is it me, or does the mileage and the tire situation not really add up. Its making me wonder about the mileage being accurate. I dont think they came with the bike, and wear wise if they are the second set of tires......... :???:
any opinions?

how the hell did you do that??? i am looking at their web page right now and they want 169.99 just for the rear before shipping.

Get on their email list. Every once in awhile they have killer package deals.

Yeah, they ran a package deal initially with Pirelli Diablos. After the Diablos sold out, they changed the package deal to the M1's. It required a pre-order by Oct 28th. They shipped on the 30th and got em on Nov 3rd.

So even if they only last a couple thousand miles- it'll be worth it.

Techman said it best- stay on their e-mail list. they have some fantastic deals every now and then.
