Hi... Did you ever get this problem resolved. If you did what was it exactly? I have the same problem with my 2017 storm with only 4k miles. Just bought the bike from local triumph and they had said leak was from valve covers. After they delivered and just warm up started oozing out from that area not from the top.

Sorry to hear that... I suspect is the head gasket form the chain well area which is very small area.

Thanks.

I just checked my TB1600 (2010). It does not have these four holes. So, it would appear to be something related to the larger 1700cc engine. Does anyone know if the big bore kit changes the situation?

The maintenance manual doesn't mention anything or any parts associated with these holes.

The service manager at the dealer said that they were probably holes made during manufacturing for the milling machines to grab on to something during fabrication.
