Just spotted oil leaking from the cam cover on the right side of my new Bonnie (2,300 miles). Has anybody else experienced this or is this just a fluke? I'm taking it into the dealer tomorrow. I hope this is under warranty.

yes.

pull cover (you'll have to remove the seat and gas tank)
run 1/16'' bead of RTV in the void in the gasket (it has a channel running through the center)
reinstall cover and tighten bolts a little
wait 24 hours
torque bolts to spec

total time, about 30 minutes plus waiting.

or wait a week to get the dealer to fix it.

Thanks for the advice and info. I think you're probably right about the dealer taking a week. I'll let you know how it goes.
