Here are a couple of excellent sites that enable you to find Triumph OEM part numbers

Triumph Center Upsalla (Sweden)

http://triumphcenteruppsala.se/index.php

This one probably one of the easiest to use, since it has the OEM part number directly on the fiche page.
Prices are in Swedish Kr.

Triumph MC Parts
Pandora's Motorsports, Tennessee

http://www.triumphmcparts.com/productSearch.aspx

And one more with OEM parts embedded but also has USD prices
This one has yet another completely different interface - but fairly easy to navigate.
Thanks to Attim for adding this link.

Lings World of Triumph (UK)

http://www.worldoftriumph.com/section.php/4276/1/parts_locator

This one has excellent web layout.
However, they use an internal sku numbering scheme in the actual fiche;
in order to get the OEM part number, place the part in the cart, then click again on the item in the cart, and it will give the OEM part number and description.
Of course in the UK, order directly from WoT
Prices are given in both £ & Eur.

To get US dealer list price, enter that OEM number into BikeBandit.

Probably the best place in US to get OEM parts & accessories mail-order is from MADSS - http://www.madss.com/index.htm
They are typically -15% off list, free shipping over $40 total order - and no sales tax if not in NJ
Excellent price and service and prompt shipping.
Use either of the sites above to get the part number, then send e-mail to [email protected] to get price.
Or use the on-line request form - http://www.madss.com/partsrequest.htm

For smaller items, use your local dealer if conveniently located.

Bike Bandit will give good guide to US list prices, however they do not have any way to display OEM Part Number
However if you enter the OEM part # (found by using one of the alternatives listed earlier) it will give you the US price
Go to http://www.bikebandit.com
Note that BB holds no OEM Triumph parts in stock, uses dealer list price (unless you have AMA or similar discount) charges shipping plus CA Sales Tax (if applicable) and is notoriously slow for Triumph shipments.
EDIT - Bike Bandit now has OEM part numbers referenced also.

To check whether a part from another model can be used, utilize one of the fiche sites listed above (e.g. WoT);
find the part for your own bike model and place in the cart;
go to alternative model that you suspect may be same, and locate then add that part to the cart;
if the quantity in the cart doubles, then you know part is same;
however if different, you will see two distinct items in the cart.

. But generally is going to be effective tool.
Nice tip. THANKS! :welldone

I still don't understand why BB doesn't list a speed triple for the 05/06 years. I got burned using the 07 year fiche for the headlight wiring harnesses. They are several inches shorter than the 06 damaged units I needed to change out. Bastids.

And Finally!!! An on-line Parts Identifier that will give you OEM Part Numbers!!!

http://www.worldoftriumph.com/section.php/4276/1/parts_locator

A little convoluted to find the actual part number but better than anything we currently have available to us:

Select Year/Model and the sub-system you need;
Find the actual item number and 'Add to Cart";
Go to cart and click on the Item 'Name';
New Field opens with Description and ACTUAL Triumph OEM part number.

Excellent find. I like the way it says "Triumph Motorcycle Part Number: TXXXXXXX - Will fit the following models:" then lists the models that use that part. Doesn't seem to do it for all parts though - even ones that I know will fit other bikes.

Very useful.

Thanks for that. Very handy after my recent off. Excellent for comparing genuine new prices before buying online from rip off breakers. I need a subframe and all the breakers I can find selling want £350+shipping for a second hand one. Brand new is £346!!
Thanks again.

Speed Triple 210445> appears to be the latest version shown on http://www.worldoftriumph.com/section.php/4276/1/parts_locator . The tail section doesn't look anything like the tail on my '09 with VIN 381300... my dealer seems to have access to a more up to date version... am I missing anything? I'd rather put together a list of stuff I need and take it into the shop than spend a couple of hours searching at their counter...

Nice find, but I think I've just found something even better!
Try this one:
http://triumphcenteruppsala.se/index.php

It will show the diagramm + the OEM part number on the same screen (i.e. no need to add to cart and re-click the part to find the number). Not sure all years and models are there but for my need, it works fine (Street Triple R 2010 in my case)

The site is based in sweden, but all we are looking for here is part numbers right ? So no language issue..

Sorry, I was not aware they list some parts on engine number too.

I have always ordered my spares with just the bike's VIN.

Same here. No one ever asked me for engine number when ordering parts, only vin #, but after looking at worldoftriumph.com link , even the fuel hose has 3 different part #'s within my bike's vin# range.

Weird.......
