Here's my contributions-

'79 T140D Bonneville 750 Special, aftermarket muffler, Emgo quarter fairing, drag bars, hand-made wiring harness (bought the bike with ZEREO wiring) otherwise basically stock. One of my collection.

'72 BMW R60/5, Emgo quarter fairing, clubman bars, boat-tail seat, Norton peashooter mufflers, otherwise stock. Just got this one running, it'll stay in my collection.

'75 Norton 850 Commando Mark III with Ducati bikini fairing, boat-tail seat, rearsets, clip-ons, peashooters, fork brace, Avon supervenoms, Boyer ignition, K&N air filter, CNW (Brembo) fully floating front brake, drilled rear disc, CRG mirrors, tiny aluminum bodied turn signals, tiny tail light. I built this one for a client, my best work to-date.

'76 Yamaha RD400, DG expansion chambers, Mikuni flat-slide carbs, clip-ons, otherwise stock. One of my collection, used to be owned by my (late) kid brother. It'll keep up with 750s in the twisties.

Great looking old-school-bikes. I love the RD400. My dad had a 1973 RD350 that just screamed. It's hard to believe how quick the little RDs can be. Also, I wish the Norton Commando was parked in my garage. Sweet!

Paul,
Nice bikes!

Got aquestion for you. I've got a small 1/4 fairing similar to the Emgo but i have no mounting brackets. Do you have any photos you could post on how the fairings are mounted. Any tips a s well?

Thanks,
(also known as PhilaRider on the BIR)

Depending on the exact model fairing, and the width of the headlight brackets you will need either straight, (flat) or "U" shaped (flat) brackets to mount to the headlight bolts.

Then you'll need to fab up a 3rd point bracket from somewhere near the center of the bottom of the fairing back to the bottom yoke area somewhere, to provide triangulation stability.
