My Legend doesn't have a center stand. So, when it's time to clean and lube the chain it takes some doing, especially when on the road. I've got my solution. I cut a piece of 1-1/4" pvc pipe 14" long...Positioned it vertically under the right side swing arm. then tied the front brake to a locked position...rocked the bike over onto the side stand enough to lighten the rear of the bike and lightly kicked the pipe in toward the brake rotor. One light kick and the tire was off the garage floor. Now, I can do this while on trips, if caught in the rain and need to re-lube the chain ASAP.

That's a good idea. I put up with not having a centerstand for 2 years and then finally broke down and got one. I wish I would have thought of something like that!
