anyone know if they are worth the money. 12 or 13 $ a pop. They promise a lot.

and actually, the two local motocycle stores didn't stock them. Strange. Maybe they're not popular here in Spain.
Maybe I'll try a car parts place.

Definately!

I have had Iridiums in my '04 TBS for the past 12,000 miles or so and they DO make a difference.

They do make a difference, and you can definitely find them cheaper.

I sent in a best offer bid and it was accepted.
30€ to my door from the UK. Saves me from faffing about here.

I swear by 'em. My legend would barely start and idle due to what i later found out was a pair of bad coils. It fouled the regular plugs about every two weeks. The iridiums fired off and it ran pretty well, runs great now that I figured out the coil problem. Mine are densos not ngks but I still recommend.
