which tyres for a daytona 650?

new member

just saw its not really for 650 so aplogies........

which tyres shopuld i use

just had puncture on rear......mine is 2005 model with original tyres

do i get both done?

i dont race track just sunday fair weather medium to slow rider!

bike has done 4000 miles just had large puncture!

any help as to modal of tyre?

Had BT-010's on, didn't think they were that great and just swapped for Continental Road Attack and absolutely love them... cheaper too!:)

Jonathan, I'll give you three tires that've worked well here. First, don't change tire sizes and I'd go ahead and change both for the best results, otherwise buy the exact same tire you're replacing.

Since you're not racking in big miles a premium sport tire looks to be the choice, IMHO. Michelin Pilot Powers, Pirelli Diablo Corsas and Dunlop SportMaxs have performed really well on a couple of 955 Daytonas and a RC51. The Corsas are my favorite as they don't follow those annoying rain grooves in the road.
