About a month ago I went and test rode the new street twin and came away very impressed. I was riding at the time a 07 Aprilia Tuono Factory. 2 weeks later I wrecked my Tuono through no fault of my own but nearly lost my left leg. I am now in a long battle to keep my Leg which could last as long as 2 years.

Every day I think about when I will be able to ride a bike again and what motorcycling will mean to me at that point. I don't think I will be going back to super powerful bikes like I had before and the New triumph T120 is really at the top of my list as to what I would like to sit on first once I feel I can ride again.

Welcome to the forum!

First, I am very sorry to read that you have suffered a bad accident. I wish you the absolute best recovery possible.

You must have time to read now, so browse the threads in the Water Cooled Twins Talk forum and join the banter there.

I have often wondered if I am ready to slow down a bit, and the new Bonnevilles are simply stunning machines. I could see being very happy riding one as my daily rider.

Keep us posted with your recovery!

Cheers!

Thanks. The Street twin felt great to ride and is amazing fit and finish. I would like more power though so the 120 would more be my style. Actually a thruxton R will full vintage bubble fairings would but I can't do long rides on bike like that anymore. I have still yet to see a test or video that really sells me on the 1200 HT motor though. most people seem content to just chug it along. Would really like to see a full accel top speed run like someone posted of the street twin.

Someone post one of these of the 120 please https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6ZB0Saj4M8

I think I have watched every new triumph vid on youtube like 3 times in the last week in the hospital.

Hope to go home by Friday though

I'm hoping by next april maybe I can sit on a bike again. Right now I'm not even allowed to pee without an escort because they are afraid I might fall.
