hey guys this is my first post. ive been doing a lot of work on my two friends triumphs lately. one is an 09 thruxton and the other is a 06 bonneville. I usually stick to old american iron and modern sport bikes so these are kind of new to me.
i just rejetted the CVK carbs on the bonnie and now were kinda stuck. we replaced the intake manifold o-ring cause one of the originals was torn. it doesn't seem to have any air leaks. the instructions told us to put a 112 main in and turn the air/fuel screws all the way in then 3 turns out. it idled but would died when given gas. we have a 120 in and it ran great for a while then all of a sudden wont even start. he is running his stock pipes w/ no tips and plans on putting some baffles in those. i was wondering if anyone has run this setup before and what size main and settings were used or any advice period would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
