You can run a tubr in them, no problem, unless the tube gets pinched or kinked?
Plus with tubeless you can carry a patch/plug kit with you for emegencies!
Can't plug a Tubeless tire?
Personaaly I think it's a waiste of a good tire to put a Tube in a tubeless?
Some "Old Schoolers " still do it because they thimk it makes it more secure?

Only if your IQ exceeds your rim diameter.

The simple answer to your question is yes, you can use tubeless tyres with a tube (the OEM tyres that my T100 came with are tubeless types fitted with a tube). As usual, there are some provisos, eg. if the tyre is a radial type then ensure that the tube you use is marked as suitable for use with a radial tyre. There are some useful tips on the Dunlop website HERE. I suggest you read the sections on front/rear tyre matching, tubes and tube-type rims.

Go to Cycle Gear by the Tacoma Mall, they should have or be able to get what size you need. I've got some screaming deals on tires there.

I suppose you could put a little drop of silicone seal on each spoke nipple and run tubeless.......

Hey, you're a welder, just run a bead around each spoke and seal it up then you won't have to worry about tubes anymore!
