Hey everyone, im a 37 yr old new rider. I just picked up my first bike, a 2019 Street Twin back on January 7, 2023. It came with the Triumph bench seat which is beautiful, as well as the bar end mirrors, which I will be switching out for the vertical type, and also came with 2497 miles on the clock. So far ive already put nearly 2k miles on her myself and boy is this bike a joy to ride. I'm commuting nearly every day from one suburb of Houston to another suburb, about 22 miles round trip, but I use every excuse I can to get on the bike for other needs. I love freeway riding and have found a few beautiful roads outside of town to ride, but I can't wait to get up to the hill country on the bike. Glad to be here, hope to continue to gain insite from the forums. Cheers!

Nice bike!

Don't be disappointed at a slow response rate. The US is just getting off work and the lads in the UK are probably closing in on lights out time.

But nice ride. I was looking at several pieces that are really interesting. The brass-colored headers are cool as are the low bars.

My sister- and brother-in-law were in League City until retirement to NC. Sounded like a nice place.

Using your bike for any excuse is a good excuse to ride. I'll go for a loaf of bread, if my wife says we need one. May take 60 miles to get there and back ;) but we get what she asked for!

Welcome aboard. Enjoy your bike and post ride pictures when you can.

My wife's nephew still lives north of Houston, not sure which suburb.

I went from Classic T140s (still have), to a 2011 Bonneville SE with M-bars (now traded), to a 2017 T120 with standard bars. I'll be open, at my age (about two decades ahead of you) the M-bars, cafe style, etc caused my wrists and shoulders to hurt after a while. We have flat roads with few curves. I think if I were engaged in some serious road handling in some banky curves, I'd have been happier.

But, hey. Not my time. You enjoy your bike and keep us posted on rides, pictures, and especially a fun/scenic trip.

Beautiful bike, congratulations. When I bought my TBS, it had bar end mirrors, and my first thought was to replace them. But after getting use to them, I’m glad I kept them.
Enjoy the new ride.

Yeah I felt the same way about the clubman bars. Hurt my wrists and elbows. The factory bars are fantastic. i think they look better too. Thanks mate, appreciate the welcome!
