Hello to all. I am a new owner of a leftover 2013 Thunderbird ABS. I bought this Thunderbird because I wanted a different bike than what was on the street in my area. Hopefully I made a good decision in this purchase. This is my fourth purchase for a motorcycle and I hope it lasts me. I enjoy working on my own vehicles as I have been a mechanic for 33 years. I hope this British twin does not fail me. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!

When I bought my Speed Triple it was a two year old left-over. I got a fabulous deal on it and I have loved this motorcycle ever since. I had been looking at several other models at the time (it was my first motorcycle after a six year hiatus) and I have not experienced any buyers remorse at all. I love my Speed Triple.

When I decided it was time for a cruiser, I likewise chose several models to research, narrowed the search down, and my final two were the Rocket and Thunderbird. The rumors of the tenth anniversary special edition caught my imagination and wouldn't let go, leading me to chose the Rocket. But I still think I would have been as happy with the Thunderbird. It is a very cool and capable cruiser!
