My name is Marty Walters and I live in Canada.

In addition to a 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster, I also own a 1976 Triumph T140V which I have restored to "excellent" Hagerty condition. I am looking forward to discussions with this group on relatively obscure information about my vintage Triumph 750. The bike is restored to 100% original condition.

The 140 is currently undergoing an engine refresh (Barrel rebore, O/S Pistons, Head, lifters, push rods etc.)

Initially, I hope to clear up the confusion between the Triumph parts and service manuals on the position of the Thackery washers on each of the rocker shafts. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as the official documentation offers different assembly methods.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Marty
