Hi, I registered to check out the classifieds as I'm hoping to acquire a Trophy. I have no idea how I can come up with 25 posts, it's not usually my style to post unless it's for a good reason.

Welcome. New Trophy SE or an older model.

I can speak for the TTSE being a magnificent ride. Though I now reside in Maine I'll be back to my native buckeye state this summer for good. We'll do a Saturday ride.

Another great source of info for the TTSE is Triumph-trophy.com. Though there is some posting on this forum concerning the TTSE, the other is much more active. I peruse both.

Wow, thanks guys! I certainly have questions but they're usually answered by searching around.

I'm looking for the 96-2003. I've never even seen one but I do have a buddy w/ several Triumphs including a Sprint GT and another buddy has a Sprint ST.

Most welcome, good sir!

Great, I love the '96 to '04 models! I owned a Daytona 1200, same frame and engine (slightly different tune) as the Trophy 1200. A strong and comfortable motorcycle. I loved that motorcycle. And very good deals can be found.

So definitely browse the Trophy threads. There are some common, easy to deal with issues on these motorcycles. If you are prepared and have them addressed immediately, you will get miles and miles and miles of riding bliss from these Trophys.

I am also very interested in the Sprint GT. More modern than the older Trophys, just as comfortable. But you will pay more. I think either of these motorcycles would be great daily commuters that can also eat the miles on a cross country trip.

Best of luck on your search.

Cheers!
