There has been a new forum are opened for gears and gadgets. This is a place to discuss riding gear and gadgets, such as Navigation Units, Bluetooth etc... Anything related to motorcycling that do not pertain to the bike itself.

Enjoy

Not sure if this is what you had in mind when posting the thread, but thought I would share. For others who ride with an MP3, I have the Bose inner ear headsets but the helmet pulls them out of place. For $20 at Walmart I picked up JVC "Marshmallow" headsets and they are awesome. They are a combination earplug / headphone set. You pinch to condense just like earplugs and they expand in the ear cannel and seal the wind out and music in.
Enjoy

When Gandhi was asked what he thought of Western Civilization, his answer was, “I think it would be a good idea.”

Werkes USA - MotoGP Exhaust

Hey all - cool little stubby can exhaust here....I just purchased one of these and am waiting for it to arrive. It's actually designed for the MY07-08 Speet Triple, but the frame is the same as a 99-01 Daytona and with just a little 'massaging' of my header, I will have it fitted up shortly. I attached an image so you can see how cool it looks - definitely one of the neatest stubby cans I've seen and at $349, not to expensive. If you give them measurements, they will customize @ no cost (but if they customize, the warranty goes away as does the return policy....returns-reschmurns, you'll wanna keep this piece :) !). Anyway, just figured this would be a cool thing to check out.....the website is:

www.competitionwerkes.com

They also make some other stuff for our beloved steeds so it might be worth popping on and seeing what you see......just a thought, anyway...hope you enjoy!

Tirox.

Well, looks like as if not many are posting in this section, never the less I have one to offer up.
Not sure if many have tried the chain cleaning kit from Tirox......just tried it last week, it's a pretty good kit.The cleaner and brush piece come together for a low of cost $20.Works well at removing the caked on crap from both chain lube and road grime.I think I will run it again in a month or so.I also switched to their chain lube, has a slight golden colour,I found it freed up a couple of links I had that were sticky, but it also splattered lube along my rim. That got me thinking where else it was throwing it.Didn't appear to be on the tire from what I could see.
Over-all...............worth the money spent. Will likely switch back to the Spectro lube though.

Thanks Brad,

I will lock this thread. The purpose of this was to give the link(which was a dead link but I fixed) to the forum area to post.
