He's referencing the earlier 1050 Speed Triple as the inspiration for the new matt orange of the 1200 Speed Triple and completely misses the fact the colour actually debuted, and sold very successfully, on the 675 Street Triple R of 2010.

Not a fan of matte paint, but I do like the orange. Remember when the orange was "Lucifer Orange"?
