I'm working on the front wheel on my '72 Daytona. I got the bearing and the axle out and the grease cleaned out. There where 3 different kinds of grease in there. The hub is pretty groady with over 40 years of dried grease and corrosion so I am getting it cleaned up as best I can. The chrome cover around the bearing race on the drum is really in the way though. I could do a much better job if I could remover it. The service manual does not address this. Can someone tell me how this thing is removed? Thanks.

there will be a few "crimps" around the perimeter of the "hubcap thing" - if you prize these up slightly it should come away
