Hi,
I have BRG painted tank and it seems to look OK but I am just wondering if out of paint and polished Triumph steel tank would look OK. What is under the paint ? Have anybody tried that trick ?

That looks nice. But I'm curious as to why clear laquer on bare metal wouldn't stop rust?

Supposeyou could always go for this look.

I put a couple coats of Duplicolor clear top coat on my bare tank, last winter. All I can figure is,the lack of visible rust must be due to the desert like weather I enjoy, here in the Pacific Northwest, about 1/2 a mile from the salt water of Puget Sound. ???

Congarts rodburner,
the tank looks nice and uncommon. No salt on it as well :)
