I've been dreaming of a triumph since I was 18. Many years later i was looking at a Bonneville T100 or Bonneville America.

It happened that i ended up with the America with only 2060 miles on it.

I love it much.
First mods :
pipes ( too quiet)
Handlebars (maybe) cause i like it a bit flat
Ai removal
Then i might paint the wheels black

Very nice bike you've got. I bet you're really pleased with it. The mods you mention are good ones to do too. I've removed the air injection system from my own 2005 (carbed) Speedmaster.

Yep the Americas and Speedmasters are VERY sweet bikes!
The best bang for the buck is less restrictive Pipes,Air filter and re-jet for carb models or re-map for the EFI models and remove the AI

P.S.Misspelling anything around here is no problem, we all do it, but misspelling Triumph is a flogging offence, and the floggings will continue until morale improves :grin2::thumbsup

I am really happy with the way things are going with Amélia Badwolf.
Installed the dart flyscreen today and tomorrow getting a new rear tire to resolve the dry rotted present tire.

Very nice. Did you do all the work yourself? Did you change the headlight?
Yes I did the work myself after watching videos on YouTube ?☺ and reading here a lot.
The headlight was a bit challenging I had to fabricate the prongs insert for it to fit in the cover of the factory housing.

Later on I will get a proper clamp housing for it.
