i bought a 72 tiger 650 tr6r from the original owner who had a Morgo 750 kit installed the day he bought it, it has 19,000 miles and has had no major work done, i am doing a complete restoration on it and i noticed that there is no oil passage to the exhaust tappet block in the Morgo cylinders, also the case where the hole was looks like it has been plugged with metal and filed flat, has anyone seen this before ?

Morgo

Yes, there is no oil way in the Morgo kit.
With the later Cams they are Nitrided and do not suffer the wear that earlier ones did. If you are concerned about the oiling the old racing trick was to grind a small flat on the lenth of the Rocker shaft, this allows more oil to be fed down to the Tappet block. Believe me it works, I never had any cam problems with my Morgo Triumph Sidecar racing, and my 70 Bonney has a Morgo kit on it now with the same mod.
This engine with the Morgo or Rout kit is the BEST, the longer rods make the difference, much better than the 750 that Triumph produced and they last longer.

All the best
