I have extra Mobil One 15w/50 fully synth non-4T in the garage. How bad is it opposed to the 4T type sold at the dealer? I know the law regarding using a regular oil vs. a motorcycle oil with the friction element the backbone of the argument, but will it really hurt or should I drive 20 miles both ways and spend another 14.00 per quart for the 4T designation????????

I read on the Mobil site that the 4T oils have no 'friction modifiers'. So if you use the non-4t stuff, your clutch could slip. The motorcycle oil also has more phosphorus/zinc for enhanced wear protection at high engine speeds and high loads.
