The FJR was a serious contender when I was looking at my next bike, they certainly hold their value and the Australian police were using them for years.Bullet proof and grunty. Glad to hear you are still with us 95kmh is a hard hit.
My favourite bike the Honda VFR1200 was taken out by a wallaby which put me down the road at 90 kmh.

The title of the thread says what type of bikes have you owned. Not what have you owned. Most of mine have been road orientated although I have had a couple of Moto crossers over the years. Suzuki RM and a Honda CR. Of the road bikes I've had, the usual I suppose, Commuters, Sports bikes and Tourers, I've never been one for cruisers as such although I've got nothing against them. In over 50 years riding I've had a quick tot up and I've owned more than 40 bikes including the three I currently have in the garage.

Interesting taking this stroll down memory lane - in order of ownership from first bike in 1970 to today :

'67 BSA Bantam D10
'71 BSA Gold Star B25 (bought new)
'66 Norton 650 SS
'67 BSA Lightning
'69 Norton Commando Fastback
'73 Norton Commando Mk1a 850 Interstate (still have)
'59 Matchless G12
'76 Norton Commando Mk3 850 Interstate (still have)
'41 BSA M20 ex-army DR bike
2010 Triumph Thruxton 900 EFI (still have)
2012 Norton 961 Sport (still have)
'62 BSA Rocket Gold Star (still have)
'75 JMC Egli-Vincent 1200 (still have)

Currently making a half-hearted attempt at resisting the urge to get a new Triumph Speed Triple RS ... might have to flog one of the others to make room - but which one ?!
