Looking for some options to replace my stock mirrors on my 07 Bonneville. I've been looking over threads, and just about every picture posted was too old to show up.
Not interested in bar ends, just something that looks good and is functional.
Show me what ya got..

Likewise on my Thrux!

What kind of a problem are you having with them - why change? Finding it's worth taking some time to get them positioned right. Then don't touch them. Keeping the screws nice and tight also minimizes vibration. Good for 70 mph plus. Then I'm hanging on for dear life!

Yamaha V Star / V Max mirror heads are a straight swap, lets you see over your shoulder. After Market such as Emgo are not expensive.

No real problem with them, just not crazy about how they look, plus, the PO had dropped the bike, resulting in a lot of scratches.

Tough to recommend mirrors without knowing your needs or bike style. I find bar end mirrors to look and work great on my Bonneville. On my Harley I use stem mounts I bought from Lowbrow. was surprised how well the small bar end mirrors work, suppose it depends on the handlebar style etc. Good luck finding your vibe.

Well, my bike's been converted into a trike, so I'm definitely not hot rodding it:ROFLMAO:
I'm still running the stock 45 year old mirrors on my FLH, I have an aftermarket set from the early 70's in a box somewhere, would like to find them and see if they'll work on this Trumpet.

Any particular year I need to look for, or are they all the same thread?
Should all be the same thread. They come with stalks but I just added the heads to my stock 2002 t100 stalks, did the same on my 2002 America too.

very cool... almost like a sidecar rig. I know you said bar end mirrors don't interest you but I have the chrome version of this Thruxton mirror just sitting on my shelf. They're a bit more classic looking than the small versions. Let me know if you'd like them and I'll send them your way.
