Modern bikes should go forever if you keep changing the oil and filter. Some go forever without regular oil changes. Let's see who has the highest miles/kilometres on their bike and a quick tell on how well they think it is running. A bloke I know was still riding his Honda Deauville at over 400,000 and it was purring like a kitten. Any high milage 865's out there?

there was a guy in the Bonneville section that last year posted 168,000 miles on his 865.

I had over 96K miles on my 06 Speedmaster when we were taken out by a 17 year old turning into a rec area 4 years ago April 21. It ran like a clock and I was really looking forward to the 100k mark, it was not to be though. I had just got the parts together to change the clutch for the first time. Change the oil, keep good brakes and they will run forever.
