Those dedicated followers of this forum will know that Bucket has been on an extended tour of the southern states of Australia over the last couple of weeks, doing trackdays and riding every twisty road they can find. He's with his brother and a few mates.

Last weekend Sparti and I rode up to Winton Raceway in North Central Victoria where there was a round of the Australian superbike series and met up with Bucket ( we've not met before) and later on rode back to Melbourne with him and his brother on some of the best roads our state has to offer.

A couple of photos taken on the way home. The Beemer R1100S belongs to Bucket's brother Mick.

That's Bucket in the black and white leathers.

When I was young I was a lanky streak of bacon, now I'm a large lump of bacon (with extra fat)

I met up with Bucket and his mates, minus his brother(the beemer shat it self, clutch or gear box and had to be trucked back to Queensland)
I met up with the boys in Bairnsdale and road with them to Swifts Creek where we had a feed at the local bakery and a catch up on what they had been up to.
When we left they asked if I could pull a little wheelie on the Rocket 3.I could not help my self and done a nice little one down the street :-D :-D
We then headed off to Mount Hotham,I had to stop just before Dinner plain(Had to get back and drive school bus  )

They are a top bunch of guys,I just wish I had more time to ride further with them

I've only been to OZ twice, but what is "hot chickens"?
Is that fried, baked, what?

Just curious.
I have been to that eatery many many times and have never seen that sign before, or even heard the term before.

They sell roast chicken which they keep hot. I haven't bought their roast chicken...it always looks like it has been kept hot a lttle too long.....

Where in Oz have you been, Devious?

I got my eye on a Rocket3 for my next bike. Should fit me nicely. I gotta find a way to buy it and keep Speedy as well!

I did request that Legman stand off the kerb for the photo but he insisted he wanted to dwarf Bucket and myself with his hulking frame.

Hey Crash, fear not, Legman is a scholar and a gentleman, I on the other hand....

You know what they say - "its not how big the dog is in the fight but how big the fight is in the dog"

Being serious now, Legman and myself had a really good time with Bucket and his Queensland posse and to think its all because of our mutual interest in S3's and this site that brought us together. We've got a good thing going here guys, lets keep it up. :-D

Yeah, I know. But on the other hand he is almost exactly what I picture a Dropbear looking like, only bigger....

Probably a wizard mate to have around in a bar fight. I mean, he'd hold your jacket and make sure your beer didn't get spilled. His witty conversation would keep your girl amused while your face is being used as a mop by the local football team.
