I did a stupid thing and put my cover on why the bike was still hot and it melted the cover to the header pipe. Is there any way to remove all the burnt on residue or am a screwed. I can't believe I did such a stupid thing to a beautiful scrambler. Any help on good products would be appreciated. Thanks

Don't fret. This has happened to many of us at some point.
I read somewhere that if you actually heat the pipes up by running the bike for a bit, and the get the 'goo' nice and moist, you can usually just wipe it right off the pipe with a thick rag or towel. Be prepared to ruin the towel, and be careful not to burn yourself, but that might be an easy way without running the risk of ruining the paint job.

Melt

As said- we all have done it 1x. On the Bonne- we let it burn till crispy & scrape off w/ a credit card or ice scraper. Can try WD it now- will get rid of a lot.Oven cleaner will do it as well- but as said DONT hit the paint!! Not a biggy- a bummer!
