I am running with BC ARK, AI ripped out, O2 sensors removed, LE Stubby Can Mufflers, and TTP Tune 12 (for ARK, pods, Short Mufflers) on my 2010 Bonnie Black. The bike sounds great, but on decel from about 3500 rpm it sounds like it is on the verge of popping, kind of like a gargling sound. It does not pop at all, but I have a feeling that my mufflers are too short for the tune and I may be running lean.

The bike has plenty power and warm up within a reasonable time. I am not really sure how to tell if it is running hot.

Here is my questions:

1. Does anyone have the same set up as mine or run with open headers with proper tune/jet and hear the same thing on decel?

2. Is there any way to tell if I am running lean besides running it on a dyno?

3. Anyone know of a reputable dyno shop in the DC metro area? Most of the ones I found online are HD shops.

I really like the cans I have now and would love to keep them. But if I am running lean and can not fine tune the A/F ratio, then I might go back to BC Preds.

If you mean it kind of gurgles, like an angry grumble, mine does that, and I'm actually a little rich (12-13:1 a/f depending on rpm). I wonder if it's just the opened breathing allowing us to hear more of what's going on upstream? I'm not suggesting you're running rich, I'm just saying maybe they all do it?
