I've got one of their black tank pads on my '08. Forget what the model style is called, but it's unobtrusive and they stick well with no edge lifting; good value for the money. Mine's been on there for 14K miles.

Thanks for the information on the tankpad. I ordered their "universal fit" pad.

Yeah, I think that's what mine is.

Just make sure the tank and pad are nice and warm when you first apply it.

Did you go through the hair dryer routine to apply it or just warm the bike and pad in the sun??
ps. It will be in the 90's° this weekend when it's delivered.

lol, I just noticed where you live so I don't think you'll need any artificial help in the warming-up dept.

I did use a hair dryer when I put mine on as it was March and still pretty chilly here in the mtns.
