I am debating between a weld on hard tail or going with 10" Hagon shocks to replace the stock ones. I want to lower the bike a bit to change the profile, I REALLY love the hard tail look, but on the other hand do not want to give up handling. Any suggestions or preferences???

I think you will get a better response over on the classics
form. look on the left side of your screen for
classics and cruisers.

I would leave it stock and, if you go for the shorter shocks
you may end up bottoming out on the rear fender.
