2001 tt600

long story short, previous owner raised the idle to ~1800 it was loud. after about 2,000 miles of riding the idle suddenly droped to under 1000rpms. along with this drop came an almost pre-ignition noise from the can when down shifting and going partial throttle after the shift. anyone have any ideas what could have happened? the only idea i have is that ive been riding alot higher in the RPMS and pushing the bike and cleared out some carbon by doing so.

is that low of an idle bad, other than a few random stalls and hard cold starts? what does your TT idle at?

the bike does have the pipe program loaded in the ecu.

thanks
shawn

Some maps have an idle around 900 rpms. It is odd that it would drop like that. Maybe there was a blockage in the airbox or something.
