Hi guys, Those of you with the gen-mar risers will be happy to know that the "07" clutch cable is slightly over 1" longer than the ""05/06" cable. I installed mine in five minutes at the dealer Saturday and rode the 240 miles home with it. No more bound up cable on left turns, and you can lock the forks again.
The part number is T2040507
Enjoy

I don't have the Gen-Mars but am considering purchasing risers. Was there a need for a longer brake line?

Thank you for the information.

Thats good news. I have the genmars and it is a little tight but no real problem. Now I'll have a spare. Nothing worse than a broken cable in the middle of nowhere.

IIRC only the 99 St needed a longer brake line. On the 05-06 you have to reroute the brake line, simply remove it from the retaining clip on the fork.
