Locking Triumph Gas Cap

Everybody else has probably seen one of these, but it's new to me!

I just got one of the Triumph locking gas caps, and wanted to report that (like everything else Triumph makes) it is of very high quality. It fits the Bonneville, T-100, thruxton, and Scrambler. The chrome is perfect!

The locking cap has a slightly higher profile than the stock cap. I like it as it's easier to grip as you twist it on or off. The sliding key cover fits perfectly and is embossed with the Triumph logo.

It comes with two keys. You can either lock the cap, or leave it unlocked as the tumbler has two positions.

Part number A9930104, $39.95 from most dealers.

Nice!

i was thinking about getting one of those. How much higher up does it sit?
It's maybe 1/4 to 3/8" higher in profile than the stock cap.
My dealer said they were backordered until April!
I got one last week looks nice and definetly easier to grip.
In stock at PJ's Triumph, Albuquerque, NM. Do a google search for the phone. PJ's is very fast on shipping.
