I drove to Alaska with the wife and kids in the Tahoe with a tent trailer this summer, a little more than two weeks...The withdrawals were terrible! Full on tremors with hallucinations and day dreams......Hang in there, though...you WILL survive! :-D

Enjoy your trip.....By the way, there is a restraunt called "Mimis Cafe" or something similar right near the gate to Disneyland....I recommend their breakfast, really good and they make a GREAT mocha!

Sometimes a keepsake helps, something like a nice photo of the bike and one of the spark plugs. This is why you should always save at least one old used oil plug washer--you can wear it on a chain next to your heart. If anyone asks, just explain--they're sure to understand.

guys,

I spend up to three weeks at a time in the north sea, have to park my bike at the NCP at the heliport before I go. I got back on Tuesday to find my bike had been blown over by the wind, but partly due to the tarpaulin I always use to cover the bike from seagull sh!t and rain. Anyhow, the mirror had snapped off the casting which also clamps the brake and master cylinder to the bars. I lashed the cylinder to the bars with a bungie cord and made my way (slowly) to the local Triumph dealer in Aberdeen (Shirlaws) who helped me out.

Anyone want a used tarpaulin :-D

That's what I did when I visited SoCal a couple months ago. Southern California Triumph has lots of clothing and accessories. Bonnie will forgive your absence if you bring home presents (forget the Mickey Mouse ears, she'll think you're making fun of her mirrors). :-D
