Throw the bearclaw over your shoulder, or cut it up, problem is as many have found out if you cover the individual K&N's completely you will find heat soak around the fuel rails and throttle bodies is a real problem, on hot summer days or in traffic the bike will hate it, and so will you. I have ridden my bike in heavy rain and as yet not experienced any issues, I have made up some foam covers that have been waterproofed for the torrential rain, slip them over the filters and all is good, Safety first.
