Due to work and other things I've been un able to use the bike for nearly a month but this afternoon was clear. Got kitted up, checked the bike over adjusted the chain and tyre pressures, took off all the locks, wheeled her out into the cold winter sunshine, hit the button and click whirr. Battery dead.
Been on an optimate but circuit breaker to garage sockets must have tripped so no juice to charger!
Battery now on charge but it looks like it'll be snowing before I can get out.
Now where's that bottle of vodka?

I must have the luck of the Irish (pretty good for an italian guy). I've NEVER put a tender of any sort on my bike and only had a garage for about 2 years of the almost 8 I've owned it, stored it outside, bought only one batter EVER, and only ever had to charge it once when I left the key in the on possition.

go go run-on sentence
