First, my bike runs stronger than it ever has (at least to the butt dyno).
Now, the jets supplied with my NARK/FREAK kit were 128/42 and I added a shim (2 total) to my Thruxton needles. The extra shim was to smooth out some throttle response.
But I read too much... Here, there everywhere all the suggested jetting is around 142/42 or 145/42 with one shim, with two shims... I get confused, need beer.
Again, the bike runs strong. I am a sea level in So Cal and ride up into the canyons (3,000 to 6,000).
What do you guys think? I got no hesitation, plugs look okay, a real rush at 6500 rpm and up.
