I found out yesterday that after 10 years my territory is being "re-aligned". In this case that means I'm out. I have to sell this bike and fast. Make me a reasonable offer.

most of us been dere at one time or another don't let it get you down. One door closes another opens. You and your family will be in my prayers.
Thank you. I'll take all the help I can get!

I had some time in when my company was bought out, so was hoping for about six months off. I was back to work in a month. So don't hit the panic button too soon, and hit up your buddies for leads. My new job is far better than the one I lost.

If you do have to move the bike to hold over, hope you can at least get good value and not let it go too low.

I was fired from every job I ever had until I was about 30. Started taking it as a point of pride. KDLUTZ is right though, another door will open - probably better than the last gig.

Yes, that's easy for me to say now without having to worry about the mortgage payment next week... but this too shall pass.

What doesn't kill us....

Graham,

Good luck. I was laid off right after Thanksgiving and am trying to take a shot at being a freelance writer.

Hopefully you'll be getting a decent severance deal. Take a minute to think about what you really want to do, and what you're good at.

:)

Hi Bob,

I'm in sales. I have sold pharmaceuticals for the last 13+ years. You still looking for a Bonnie? Mine just went down in price a little... :-D

Thanks and good luck to you too. I'm working on my web site right now to do some photography on the side and I have several interviews lined up with different pharma/biotech companies. It just takes a little time.
